After getting success in my earlier few ventures, Chocolate Temptations, Buckwheat flakes & hazelnut bites, French Macaron filled with Chocolate Ganache, now I have become more confident :). Though this time tried much simpler and basic one, still I bet you guys will love this. Here is the recipe of very well known “chocolate chips cookies”. 🙂
Ingredients for 25-30 pieces :

- Granulated white sugar – 150 gm. (¾ cup)
- Light brown sugar – 160 gm. (¾ cup)
- Vanilla extract – 1½ teaspoon
- Egg – 2
- Flour (all purpose) – 295 gm. (2¼ cup)
- Baking soda – 1 tsp
- Salt – ½ tsp
- Chocolate chips – 1 cup
Beat the butter until creamy using a stand mixer or hand mixer.
Add sugar and beat again.
Add vanilla extract, egg (one at a time) and beat.
Mix flour, salt and baking soda in a separate bowl.
Add the dry ingredients to the moist mixture and mix well.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Put 25-30 rounded tablespoonfuls of the mixture onto greased baking sheets, spaced well apart to allow for spreading.
Transfer to a preheated oven, 180ºC/350ºF, and bake for 14-16 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool before serving.
Enjoy with a hot cup of coffee. 🙂
